Creating a Design System for a Well Known Specialty Cookware Retailer

Anthem worked with Sur La Table to create a sophisticated and approachable design system for their bakeware line.
Anthem created a packaging system and consistent brand language to unify Sur La Table’s various package executions. To stay in line with the brand personality of bohemian fun, Anthem explored a variety of less conventional typographies and colors for the category.
The final design consists of elegant duotone photography, with bold colors in the brand identity and product descriptor. A prominent holding device incorporates the wordmark as well as the brand tagline "The Art and Soul of Cooking," creating an instantly recognizable identity. The new design delivers consistent brand presentation and reduces store clutter.
Anthem also redesigned Sur La Table’s holiday SKUs, and Sur La Table and Riedel co-branded wine glasses.
