Packaging a Co-Branded New Product Innovation

Anthem worked with Nestlé Canada to launch a new product under a well-recognized confectionery brand, creating the Rolo chocolate cone.
To attract teens, young adults and chocolate lovers, Anthem created a package design that stayed true to the core Rolo equities while strongly communicating the new product innovation, the chocolate cone. In addition to using decadent photography, the team created a chocolate splash device leading to the cone to draw attention to the product’s point of difference.
Launched in both single-serve entities and 4-pack cartons, the products quickly became #1 in their respective categories.
